UV-S510 Series Bactericidal UV System (Amalgam Lamps)
Pricing: POA, contact us for a quote.
Configuration confirmed at order: model/flow rate (150 to 1000 m³/h, see below), hydraulic connection size and control panel version are selected when stock is ordered.
Professional installation required: this is large-scale UV disinfection equipment and should be installed and commissioned by a qualified technician. Amalgam lamps must be disposed of as hazardous waste at end of life.
The UV-S510 series is part of STEIEL's range of systems for the sterilisation and debacterisation of water using UV-C radiation. It uses amalgam lamps, which maintain 100% bactericidal yield even in hot water (30-60°C) — unlike standard mercury vapour lamps, whose output drops as water temperature rises. Used in potable water treatment, the pharmaceutical industry, irrigation water and the food industry. This is large-scale industrial equipment, well beyond the scope of pool applications.
