Integrated into pool deck construction: Myrtha Breathe is built into the pool's gutter and deck system, it is not a bolt-on retrofit unit and should be specified at the pool design/construction stage.

Indoor facilities: this system is designed for indoor swimming facilities, where airborne disinfection by-products (DBPs) accumulate without adequate air exchange.

Myrtha Breathe is a system developed by Myrtha Pools' research and design team to remove volatile disinfection by-products (DBPs), such as chloramines and halomethanes, from the atmosphere of an indoor swimming facility. It's designed to preserve pool cleanliness and help prevent health issues associated with prolonged exposure to airborne DBPs, a recognised air quality concern in indoor aquatic centres.

The system is made up of a gutter channel surrounding the pool with a thin, porous pipe running along the base of the gutter. The main gutter is flanked by a secondary gutter, with a suction conduit between them that draws contaminated air from the main gutter, the secondary gutter, and the pool deck.
